what is the name of the cloth used for the karate uniform for kata?

uniforms for kata makes sound when you perform a kata. i want to know the name of the cloth used in making karate uniform specially for kata, the one makes a sound.

    usually a blend of cotton/wool and polyester

    there is many different ones.

    the light weight one (usually only worn by TKD and children) is 8ounce cotton blend

    the Heaviest one worn by Full contact Karate and some of the less forcefull grappling arts is 16ounce Canvas

    there is many in between and then many above too

    Mainly, especially in judo, but also in karate, they call this the “gi”. It is a Japanese term for “uniform.”

    A karate uniform is called a gi. THe sound you hear should come the power used by the karateka.
