What kata is practiced when you’re a Purple Belt and One Stripe in Karate?

Basically, after you do Heian Godan and get from Purple Belt to Purple And One White Stripe, what kata do you do to get to brown belt, Bassai Dai or Tekki Shodan?

Purple belt? White stripe? You use shotokan terms, but what’s with the stripe stuff? Bassai Dai, and tekki shodan are often taught at the 3rd, or 2nd kyu levels. Depending upon your instructor(s), one or more of several kata may also be taught. What kyu is purple belt, and what is your style? Without the specific style it is impossible for any one of us to tell

It would depend on your style of karate and the association you are with. For Shotokan usually Tekki Shodan follows Heian Godan.

Not enough information is in your question.
